CheckPro and LoanPro

CHECKPRO uses SDSI's Unform Document Archiving and Management solution to capture, store and retrieve electronic images of customer's ID cards, checks, loan contracts, and other supporting documentation.

Additional supporting documentation such as copies of utility bills can also be scanned into the archives to enable full electronic filing of loan documents and records. These documents are stores in a database on the CHECKPRO server and are easily accessable via a web browser by authorized users.

In order to take advantage of this robust electronic document storage solution, you will need to purchase licensing for UnForm Archiving and additional labor to custom taylor the system, job definitions, and archive structure according to your specific requirments. This usually amounts to a fairly modest investment that is cost prohibitive to our smaller customers. Our goal is to be able to lower this cost in the future as more customers take advantage of this powerful system.

You will also need at lease one document scanner in each location, as well as a client license for each scanning workstation. VSI does not provide the scanners but will work with you on selecting a scanner to suit your work-flow and volume.

• CheckScan is designed to work with the MagTek MICRImage scanner to produce scanned images of checks with MICR support.

• CheckScan requires the MICRImage to be connected to your computer with the supplied serial cable. If your computer does not have a serial port, you may be able to use a USB to Serial port adapter cable.

• NOTE: CheckScan was developed for Windows 98 and Windows Me and is only covered here for customers needing legacy support. It will not work with Windows XP, however MagTek has a demo program that does. You can download it from MagTek directly. The MagTek demo software does not auto save the checks based on the MICR, but otherwise performs the same functionality as CheckScan does with older versions of Windows.
